Principles of Classroom Management

Module 8 Activity 1

The process of learning should be structured by the facilitator in order to set the tone.  Learners will become involved and the role of the facilitator is just that: to facilitate learning but proper management still resides with the facilitator.

They must know and understand the expectations for the learning experience and the facilitator has to ensure that he/she exemplifies that behaviour to the learners.  When the learners know what to expect because they were given clear guidelines, then learning will take place and less distraction will be seen during the lesson activities.
