Grand Finally : I am so thankful to God for the allowing me to see the completion in one piece.  This experience has truly been a learning and growing one.  I was able to see, hear, do and understand so much that I did not think would be possible in another setting.  It is said often but maybe we just gloss over it at times but I would like to say it with meaning - God is truly amazing. We made it through and I wish everyone all the best for the future.  To Gerald Roos , Fiona Beal , Brenda Hallowes , Deb Avery and Kevin - thanks will never be enough but I am truly blessed to have had you on this journey.  If there were others working behind the scenes whose names I am not familiar with, please know that my gratitude is extended to you as well.   Congratulations and God Bless.  

We have set plans in place for full ICT implementation over the next five (5) years.  In order to get this accomplished we have outline several steps that will govern the process of implementation.    We have created an ICT Vision, Mission and Aim for the school.   Our vision is for all teachers and learners in our school to become confident with the use of ICT in an effort to further and enhance their skills and knowledge in the dissemination of information in their various subject areas. During the creation of our Aim, Vision and Mission statements we thought it was a very good approach to poll both teachers and students in order to determine what they thought of ICT implementation.  Some of the questions asked were:      What does ICT mean to you?      How do you think ICT will affect the way lessons are presented?      Would you be willing to participate in training offered for free by the school? Activity 3C – An ICT SWOT analysis of Pares Secondary School Strengths : Majority of the teaches are computer literate Access to the internet via Wi-Fi connectivity School has ICT vision and Mission statements There are two fully functioning computer labs and a access to a community lab during the school hours Hardware devices (desktops, laptops, projectors, tablets and printers) are readily available to staff members and students EMIS system used for a number of functions to include student reports Access to resources by the teachers whether onsite of off-site The creation of an ICT Management Team Include policy to guard against equipment damage Opportunities : Proposed linkages with community owned businesses A phased-in approach is planned for integrating ICT into other subject areas Re-training teachers in the use of ICT into the classroom by the ICT Management Team Online collaboration with student

At my school we reviewed the priority areas and deemed these as the agreed status of ICT. Already achieved: Staff and students are equipped with ICT Tools Established ICT Management Team Conducted school survey to determine individual skill levels Conducted professional development workshop to bring an awareness to staff on the ICT Implementation process Shared SWOT analysis ICT Management Team have already identified training resources Website for training already created Templates for certificates to be issued to participants have already been designed Infrastructural upgrades discussed with principal and other stakeholders. In the process of doing: Installed another wireless router on the administrative unit Mathematics and English were identified as the two areas to start the phased-in training process. Determining most suitable time in which to conduct training sessions during
